Event Rules
– All Events Double Elimination
– Payout per bracket (under 64 entrants): 60/25/15 (% of pot) for 1st, 2nd, 3rd
– If a game meets 64 entrants we will pay out top 8.
– If a game meets 64 entrants we will use a ”group/pool” format
– Once brackets are seeded and finalized there will be NO changes! All brackets are final once the tournament begins.

Pokken Tournament // Console: Wii U (head-to-head)
– 2/3 rounds, 3/5 games

Street Fighter V // Console: PS4
– Versus Mode, 99 Seconds
– 2/3 rounds, 2/3 games (3/5 for loser’s, winner’s and grand finals
– Only the loser of each set can choose a different character
– Players must bring their own PS4 dual-shock to set up PS3 Legacy arcade sticks

UMVC3 // Console: Xbox 360
– 99 Seconds, 3/5 Games, Default Handicap, Default Damage
– You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played
– Winner must keep exact same team (including assists)

MKXL // Console: PS4
– 99 Seconds, 3/5 Games, (3/5 for loser’s, winner’s and grand finals)
– Winner must keep same character and variation
– Only the loser of each set can choose a different character/variation
– Kombat Pack 2 characters will be allowed unless ruled otherwise. We have the right to change this ruling up until the day of the tournament.

Killer Instinct // Console: Xbox One
– 2/3 matches, 3/5 Matches Winner’s Final, Loser’s Final, and Grand Final

Guilty Gear XRD // Console: PS4
– 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games (3/5 for Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals)

Project M 3.6 Singles
– 4 Stock
– Timer On, Set to 8 Minutes
– Items set to “Off” and “None”
– Sets are Best of 3, Finals are Best of 5

Smash 4 Wii U
– Game Settings: 2 Stock, 8 Minute Time Limit, Items Off, Equipment Off, 2/3 Games (3/5 for loser’s, winner’s and grand finals)
– Cloud, Roy, Lucas, and Ryu, and Mewtwo are all legal characters.
– Amiibos are banned.
– Custom moves are NOT allowed (even Palutena)
– Mii Fighters, however, are allowed with any moveset, using default sizes. No equipment is allowed.

*Palutena’s Temple Omega form is allowed as substitute without opponent’s agreement due to possible light flash concerns.

First stage is decided by (Rock Paper Scissors) best of 1. Winner strikes, then loser strikes twice, then winner. (1-2-1)

Following stages decided by winner banning two stages from all stages and then loser choosing

The banning process is as follows: 1-2-1 and during any further matches the winner will ban 2 stages and then the loser will pick the stage.

Either player may elect for a blind character pick at the beginning of the set.
Winning player is not locked into the same character for the next match, but has to pick before loser selects character.
Stage striking will happen after characters are chosen.
You may only play on a stage that is not listed in the legal stages if you and your opponent have mutually agreed to play there.
Maximum allowed time between games is 90 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss. Coaching is allowed during this time.
There will be no loading anything on to the consoles from a Nintendo portable gaming system.
Allowed controllers: WiiU Pro Controller, GameCube Controller (No Wavebirds), Wiimote, Wiimote + Nunchuck, Classic Controller (or any external controller that plug into the Wiimote), any member of the 3DS family. Gamepad is not allowed.
Dave’s stupid rule:

You cannot pick a stage that you have previously won on during that set unless mutually agreed to. (Doesn’t carry over on bracket reset)
